Thanks for kind act by good Samaritan

On Tuesday, Dec. 18, I was the recipient of a remarkable act of holiday kindness.

Stuck in traffic with my wife behind the wheel, I became intensely sick to my stomach.

My wife pulled over, and I escaped the car to finish what my stomach had started. Walking back to the car, a very kind and generous stranger in a minivan handed me a bottle of water.

At that low moment filled with complete embarrassment, that gift of water was the greatest thing I could have received.

That stranger in the minivan, stuck in traffic on the Eisenhower Expressway, gave me the greatest possible holiday gift and demonstrated again how kind we can all be.

I just wanted to say thank you to that person who made my day.

With warm regards.
