Stanford 77, Washington 42: Jeanette Pohlen scored a career-high 20 points, all in the second half, and host No. 2 Stanford beat Washington. Kayla Pedersen added 12 points and 12 rebounds to help the Cardinal (12-1, 2-0 Pac-10) hand the Huskies (5-9, 0-2) their worst loss of the season.
Rutgers 70, Temple 34: Epiphanny Prince scored 20 points to lead host No. 6 Rutgers to a victory over Temple. Rutgers (9-2) had been off for the last 18 days for exams, last playing on Dec. 12 against Princeton. But the Scarlet Knights opened a 38-14 halftime lead on Temple (7-7).
Oklahoma 95, So. Carolina 63: Freshman Danielle Robinson scored a career-high 20 points to go with 6 assists and Courtney Paris recorded her 72nd consecutive double-double to help No. 9 Oklahoma (9-2) rout visiting South Carolina (9-4). Paris, a 6-foot-4 junior, had 24 rebounds, nearly matching South Carolina's total of 26. She went just 4-of-14 from the field and didn't reach the 10-point mark until a bucket from underneath with 3:57 left, maintaining her double-digit streak.
No. Carolina 88, Liberty 67: Latoya Pringle scored a career-high 25 points and had 10 rebounds to lead No. 4 North Carolina (13-1) past visiting Liberty (11-2). She hit 6 of 8 shots from the field and went 13-of-15 from the line. Erlana Larkins scored 15 points before leaving the game in the second half with an injured left hand.
Maryland 98, UMBC 56: Marissa Coleman scored 18 points and host No. 5 Maryland made an ACC-record 17 3-pointers in a win against UMBC in the Terrapin Classic. Carlee Cassidy scored 24 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead UMBC (4-9). The Terrapins raised their record to 16-1.
LSU 73, New Orleans 46: Quianna Chaney scored 14 points and RaShonta LeBlanc 12 to lead host No. 8 LSU (10-3) to a win over New Orleans (7-5). UNO committed 31 turnovers and made only 19 field goals.
Baylor 76, Rice 51: Angela Tisdale scored 18 points, giving her 1,000 for her career, and 10th-ranked Baylor survived an early scare for a win over visiting Rice. Rachel Allison had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Baylor (10-1). Danielle Wilson scored 11 and blocked 5 shots and Melissa Jones added 10 points. Kadie Riverin scored 16 for Rice (7-7).
Georgia 70, Fla. Intl. 54: Ashley Houts scored a career-high 24 points and No. 7 Georgia remained undefeated, beating Florida International to win the FIU Sun & Fun Classic. Georgia (12-0) is one of three undefeated teams -- Connecticut and Arkansas are the others. LaQuetta Ferguson led the Golden Panthers (4-9) with 18 points and four 3-pointers.
