Quintet lauded for hanging in there

To the District 158 School Board, thank you for sticking it out. We cannot imagine how hard it must be to continue with your volunteer positions after what you have been through lately.

Please know that many of us are happy with the job you are doing. It is hard for us to understand how you can continually be subjected to the games that two of our school board members have put you through, and remain professional.

While others have chosen to focus on the one occasion that you have given in to temptation and allowed yourselves to be baited by them, we choose to focus on the countless times you remain calm and collected. Many of us sit back and shake our heads at the circus that they have made it.

We would like our board of education to get back to the business of education. We realize this will be a very hard task with the current board. Please do not give up. Our children's future depends on it. We have faith in the five of you. Many people have faith in the five of you.
