Gift Theatre begins its season with J.T. Rogers' "White People," in which three characters wrestle with racism.

Miller's 'View'

GreyZelda Theatre Group augments its production of Arthur Miller's "A View From the Bridge" with music and multimedia courtesy of Robert Filippo.

Miller's urban drama about loyalty, betrayal and revenge concerns a Brooklyn longshoreman Eddie Carbone, whose desire for his niece and jealousy over her infatuation with an Italian immigrant has tragic results. The Neo-Futurists host an all-ages benefit performance at 11 p.m. Monday of their long-running show, "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind," at the Neo-Futurarium, 5153 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago.
