Christmas wishes for Santa's list

Dear Santa,

My Christmas wish list doesn't have anything on it that you or your elves will have to make or deliver to my home. I don't need a Lexus; my '99 Malibu still runs fine. I don't want a 45-inch plasma TV; my 21-inch still works OK.

What I want doesn't cost money, but it is indeed a tall order for you to fulfill.

I would like to you re-instill in people the qualities of courtesy, kindness, consideration, compassion, respect and love. We seem to be forgetting how to practice these wonderful, basic skills on an everyday basis. Instead, we are far too self-focused.

Please help us out in this area, Santa. It would make the world a much lovelier place to live in.

Lastly, see what you can do to bring our troops home. It is time for them to be re-united with their loved ones.

Thanks, Santa.

P.S. No matter how much pressure you get, don't ever stop saying, "Ho! Ho! Ho!"
