Letter provides a comfort to grief
On Sunday, Dec. 2, my cousin's son, Sgt. Ryan Mitchell Wood, age 23, was to arrive home from Iraq for the Christmas holidays.
Instead he was brought home in a casket (in late June).
On Sunday, Dec. 2, I read George E. Bedingfield's poetic Fencepost letter, "Into a celestial path of peace." I shall send it to Scott and Renee, knowing that they will be comforted. Thank you, Mr. Bedingfield.
