Smoking ban cuts personal freedom

Almost every television station is airing an ad that reminds us that as of Jan. 1, Illinois will be smoke free.

This ad (which touts the loss of personal freedom) shows us many creative uses for all our now useless ashtrays. At the end of this ad, we are asked for our suggestions, for what we can think of to do with these ashtrays.

My suggestion is that the governor, and all the other legislators who care nothing for freedom of choice, stick the ashtrays where the sun does not shine.

That way we cannot see them and be tempted to break the law, using a very legal substance.
