Gun worry shows delusion, confusion
In reference to the Dec. 5 article "Carpentersville board votes to sell surplus police guns."
I am certain Village President Bill Sarto meant well in his attempt to block a board decision to sell surplus guns belonging to the village's police department. However, his arguments show a remarkable lack of intellectual honesty and logic.
His misplaced worry seems to be based upon his ignorance of state and federal gun laws and procedures. He seems deluded and confused when he talks about the risk of putting the weapons back on the street.
To whom does he think the village will be selling these firearms? Criminals?
