The Bash brothers return to entertain Cubs fans

In the spirit of charity, good music and laughs, Cubs broadcasters Len Kasper and Bob Brenly will return to host their second annual Len & Bob Bash on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008, at the House of Blues in Chicago.

The event precedes the annual Cubs Convention and will feature the alternative-country group Son Volt, who played at this year's Lollapalooza. The opening act for the Bash will be The Felice Brothers.

"It's such a fun way to kick off Cubs Convention weekend and to raise money for Chicago Cubs Charities," said Kasper. "Son Volt is a terrific alt-country band and we're delighted to have them as our featured headliner. And rumor has it, Bob and I will blast our way through a couple cover songs again in another effort to prove we should keep our day jobs."

Tickets for the Bash are now on sale through the House of Blues web site (HOB.com), at all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling 312-559-1212 or at through www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $30 in advance and $33 on the day of the show.
