Adorned palm trees probably accurate

As I drove along streets in southwest Florida, I enjoyed the white lights wrapped around royal palm trees. I laughed, thinking what strange Christmas trees they were, until I realized that they were very authentic Christmas trees.

The little infant born to the Jewish couple in Bethlehem was most likely of a darker complexion with curly dark hair.

The trees of his birthplace included palm trees.

When John greeted Jesus as he triumphantly entered Jerusalem, he waved palm branches in greeting. The palm tree is a symbol of victory!

Seems like there is a very good case for the palm tree as a Christmas tree.

At least we can remember that this Jewish child came to bring a message of love and widen our thinking to rise above the stereotypical blond, blue-eyed, baby lying under a bower of spruce trees.

That child carried the truth of the universal love of all mankind that we celebrate at Christmas.
