Eight-year sentence for three lost lives

I am writing in response to the article about a woman sentenced to eight years for a crash that killed three rock musicians.

The woman was a former model named Jeannette Sliwinski. She said she was in a fight with her mother and wanted to take her own life. She was driving 70 mph, and ran three red lights, when she hit the other car.

Sliwinski should be charged with her life. She was charged with reckless homicide and aggravated battery.

Her current sentence is eight years and she already has served two. Since she is mentally ill, there is a chance she could be released earlier than her sentence.

She took three other people's lives. There isn't any way to make up for that, only to pay with her life.

She did apologize and feels guilty, but that is not enough. There have to be consequences for her actions. She went out driving that night looking to take her life. She had to know she would harm others by her choice to run three red lights.
