Hunt Club's selection of plans targets buyers
Two model homes give visitors a taste of Hunt Club, a new clubhouse community of single-family homes in Southwest suburban Oswego.
Set on 476 acres of natural rolling terrain, the Town & Country Homes community offers green space, preserved wetlands, parks and walking trails. The clubhouse features an outdoor pool, great room, fitness center and kitchen as well as an on-site clubhouse coordinator to help plan events.
Located south of Route 71 on Minkler Road, Hunt Club offers two series of homes. The Middleburg Series features eight two-story floor plans with three to four bedrooms, 2½ baths, basements and two- or three-car garage and one ranch plan with two bedrooms, two baths, basement and two-car garage.
The Wellington Series offers four two-story homes with three to four bedrooms, 2½ baths, lofts in some plans, basement and attached two- or three-car garage.
"Our models at Hunt Club are absolutely beautiful and will wow anyone who tours them," said Ray Blankenship, vice president of operations for Town & Country Homes.
"Visitors will see that the homes are especially spacious with open layouts and larger room sizes that growing families need. The flexibility of the floor plans is shown in both models, and buyers will appreciate seeing the different ways they can use the space in these homes."
The Quail and Elkridge model homes are both in the Middleburg Series and have four bedrooms, 2½ baths and walkout basements.
The Quail, from $316,995 with 3,038 square feet, has a two-story foyer, dark hardwood floors and a staircase with oak rails.
Tucked off the foyer, the den with a beverage center is set up for an architect to work at home. The living room is furnished with a sofa and two chairs, while in the dining room, a large mirror between two display cabinets creates a focal point.
The family room features a fireplace with wood mantel and windows on either side, plenty of seating and an entertainment center with plasma TV.
The kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances including a double oven; 42-inch upper cabinets with crown molding; walk-in pantry and a large island with breakfast bar. The breakfast area with optional bay overlooks the deck.
Topped with a cathedral ceiling, the master suite features a huge walk-in closet, a bed with paisley print spread, chair and entertainment center. The luxury bath with striped wallpaper has a double-bowl vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower.
A bonus room features three homework stations, large chalkboard, game table, entertainment center with plasma TV and four chairs.
Three secondary bedrooms served by a full hall bath are decorated in a workshop theme, complete with workbench and tools; a kite theme with green and teal walls, and a room done in lavender and green with a colorful floral spread and play picnic table and chairs.
The Elkridge, from $302,995 with 2,644 square feet, has a two-story foyer and a central staircase.
Off the foyer, the den features contemporary artwork, a table for two and built-in cabinetry. With three windows, there's plenty of light in the dining room, where a table set for six is topped with three large candles.
The kitchen features black appliances, dark wood cabinets with granite countertops and backsplash, large pantry and a breakfast bar. In the breakfast room, the table is set and ready.
The heart of the home is the family room that features a stone fireplace with wood mantel, sofa and chairs.
The master bedroom suite has a double tray ceiling, large walk-in closet and a luxury bath with double-bowl vanity, soaking tub and separate shower.
In the bonus room, there's an entertainment center with comfortable seating and a play area with a play garage and wagon, table and chairs, and shelving for toys and games.
A full bath serves three secondary bedrooms that include a guest room with walk-in closet, a nursery with an ice cream theme and hand-painting on the walls, and a room with a bicycle motif that also features hand-painting and a walk-in closet.
