Re/Max names Huntley High students of the month

Re/Max Superior Properties Students of the Month for November are Crista Chism and Patrick Velez of Huntley High School.

Crista is a junior who was nominated by Cathleen O'Donnel for her work in student council the last three years. Crista has been trained in parliamentary procedure and has attended many conferences. She is also helping a Japanese student with understanding assignments, and assimilating to high school in the United States. Words to describe her are polite, helpful, courteous, and hard-working.

Patrick Velez was nominated by his guidance counselor, Pat Olson-McGee, who says that he has made great strides since coming to Huntley High School. He has become a good student, helps out with church activities and tries to motivate his friends to do better. One of his teachers describes him as intelligent, with a good sense of humor, and says he smiles a lot. Patrick likes to snowboard and hopes to have a job once he gets his license.
