Badgers beat local rival again

Marcus Landry scored 16 points, Brian Butch added 14 and Trevon Hughes had 12, as Wisconsin beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee 61-39 on Wednesday night for the 15th straight time.

The Badgers (7-2) gritted out a win against an in-state opponent after losing to Marquette at home in their last game. Milwaukee (3-7) last beat Wisconsin 15 years ago to the day, but the Panthers have a current six-game losing streak.

Landry hit a wide open 3-pointer with 13:28 left to give the Badgers a 40-23 lead and they led by as many as 25. Torre Johnson scored 10 to lead the Panthers, who were outrebounded 37-16.
