Two stories leave reader in quandary

I was in a quandary when I read your Dec. 4 article, "Reminder of war part of menorahs" in which your paper reports an educational director for a local synagogue, as part of teaching the observance of Hanukkah, used bullet casings in a art project; while thousands of miles away, another teacher in the Middle East is on trial for allowing her students to name a teddy bear Muhammad. Wow. Happy holidays, I think?
