Put school break after final exams

With winter break coming up, the hype for finals is just starting. Teachers will be pounding high school students like myself with tests.

District 211 schools have first semester finals the second week students return. Winter break is a time for students to get rejuvenated for the next semester, not get over run with homework and review for first semester finals.

Most students would agree that it would be worth starting school earlier if needed for break to be after finals. School would then get out earlier at the end of the year.

The school districts that have finals before break have kept it that way for years so there must be some good coming from it.

There is no need for students to give up their much-needed break when this can easily be avoided.
