Thankful judge put an end to nonsense

I'm glad the court rejected the lawsuit by the politically motivated opponents of the village of Campton Hills in their attempt to dissolve our new community.

I think I speak for the majority of my neighbors when I say enough is enough. For months, we have been bombarded with this negative campaigning and I'm glad the judge put an end to this nonsense.

Disguised names haven't fooled village residents into thinking this opposition movement is seeking what's best for our village. Now that the opponents have been rejected, I hope these obstructionists move on and leave us to remain the quiet, rural community we voted to protect.

As Judge Colwell stated, voters chose to incorporate the village. We're eager to begin focusing solely on growing the village of Campton Hills and preserving the quality of life my family wants. This distraction is frustrating, and, hopefully, it's over.
