Actually, there are no mulligans

Regarding the Nov. 26 Daily Herald article on "academic forgiveness," Michael Walters' lawyer (James Koch) also fails to earn the honor roll.

The article concluded with Koch saying "It's a mulligan … You deserve a mulligan." Respectfully, there are no mulligans in the game of golf as dictated by The Rules of Golf, published by the United States Golf Association, the governing body of the game of golf. Two stroke penalty: no "do over" mulligan for either Mr. Walters or Mr. Koch.
