IHSA should not control photos

I find it ridiculous that the IHSA is attempting to control the news media and their efforts to cover IHSA events. The media is doing the IHSA a huge favor by even covering their events on a daily basis.

News organizations are not obligated to promote high school events. I think the IHSA should be more appreciative of the coverage they do get on a daily basis. Perhaps the news organizations should boycott IHSA events and give them zero coverage.

If the almighty IHSA is so concerned about newspapers profiting from photographs, why doesn't the IHSA instead sell its own staff photographer's photos on the IHSA Web site so it can cash in also?
