Briefs: Gurnee waterpark to be cashless

GURNEE -- Precision Dynamics Corp. is implementing its Smart Band RFID Wristband System at the new KeyLime Cove Water Resort in Gurnee, scheduled to be completed in late February, the company announced Friday. The system will consist of kiosks with touch-screen monitors that allow parents to deposit money into pre-funded accounts. Patrons will not have to worry about carrying keys or losing money, and there will be added security for families as they can pre-fund and monitor children's purchases, the company says.

Businessmen buy Waukegan Avionics

WAUKEGAN -- Waukegan Avionics, an aircraft avionics and repair facility for general aviation, has been acquired by local entrepreneurs seeking to grow and expand the 20-year-old business, the company announced Friday. Waukegan Avionics operates from the Waukegan Regional Airport. Ray Wiltgen and Abe Hughes, Chicago and Lake County businessmen, will become the new general managers and owners of the business.
