Wolves not quite Sterling enough

Despite 2 goals from Brett Sterling, the Chicago Wolves gave up a pair of late goals and dropped a 3-2 decision to the Syracuse Crunch at the Allstate Arena on Tuesday night.

Sterling has 13 goals and 20 points in 14 games with the Wolves (17-4-1-0) since being assigned by the Thrashers of the NHL on Nov. 5.

Jason Krog assisted on both of Sterling's goals and has notched a point in his last seven games.

The Wolves share the AHL lead with 17 wins and rank second with 35 points.
