Storm's scoring leader out 4-6 weeks

Chicago Storm forward Mark Ughy will miss the next four to six weeks after suffering a break in his fifth metatarsal.

Ughy will have surgery on his foot Thursday. The injury occurred during the Storm's two-match sweep against the Orlando Sharks on Friday and Saturday.

"We will certainly miss Mark," Storm head coach Steve Morris said. "But we don't dwell on who's in or not in the lineup. This will give other people an opportunity to step up. But I'm personally disappointed for Mark."

Ughy currently ranks fourth in the Major Indoor Soccer League with 21 points in six games. Earlier this season, He leads the Storm in points, assists (6) and is tied for first with Matthew Stewart in total goals (7).

The Storm (5-1) lead the MISL standings by a half-game over New Jersey and Baltimore. The Storm's next game is this Saturday at Philadelphia, and their next home game is at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 against Milwaukee.
