Urgency needed to hunt oil alternative
We need an alternative to oil today, not five years from now.
With crude oil selling in the area of $100 a barrel, and expected to rise, what are we doing with the only working alternative Ethanol?
The financial experts state that despite a great quarter reported by ADM, one of the largest producers of ethanol, the future looks bad as the price of corn has gone up while the price of ethanol has gone down because of excessive inventories.
These inventories are expected to grow with falling ethanol prices..This means that there is no stopping rising gasoline prices.
Many people are concerned about the cost of the war which will have to be paid by our children and grandchildren. We also might be concerned about the billions of dollars of oil money being invested in our stock market. The only thing Republicans and Democrats agree on is that everything is for sale.
