Duncan injured in Spurs' victory

Tony Parker scored 27 points, and the host San Antonio Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers 100-79 after losing Tim Duncan in the second quarter with an injured knee and ankle.

Duncan bruised his right knee and sprained his right ankle in the first half and did not return to the game. The team said all of Duncan's ligaments appeared stable, but that he would undergo an MRI exam today.

Martell Webster and Travis Outlaw had 17 points each for Portland.

Pistons 118, Nets 95: Jason Maxiell had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Richard Hamilton added 19 points as host Detroit won for the sixth time in seven games by beating New Jersey.

Vince Carter led New Jersey with 22 points.

Celtics 80, Cavs 70: With NBA scoring leader LeBron James missing his second straight game because of a sprained finger, host Boston (14-2) beat Cleveland.

Ray Allen had 20 points for Boston.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas led Cleveland with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Pacers 101, Clippers 95: Jamaal Tinsley scored 10 of his 29 points in the final four minutes, and Jermaine O'Neal added 20 points and 15 rebounds as Indiana beat the host Los Angeles Clippers.

Chris Kaman had 22 points and 22 rebounds for the Clippers.
