Mobile health unit to visit Vernon Township Monday
Lake Forest Hospital's CareCoach is a mobile health unit that offers Lake County residents free medical care close to home. The CareCoach provides childhood immunizations and free health screenings, including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and asthma screening. The professional staff includes a community health nurse and a care coordinator who can answer medical questions.
The CareCoach will visit Vernon Township from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the Vernon Township Community Center, Prairie View, 2900 N. Main St., Buffalo Grove.
From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday the CareCoach will be stationed in the parking lot of the Vernon Township Food Pantry at 3050 N. Main St., Buffalo Grove.
