Why break down vet demographics?

While I appreciate your coverage of Veteran's Day activities, I didn't appreciate your politically correct breakdown of veterans.

Why did you feel it necessary to break down the number of veterans by women and Hispanics?

In my eyes, a veteran is someone who has served his country, no matter his sex, race or skin color.

Where were the Native Americans, Italians, poles, and blacks? Would I be remiss in wondering why the gay and lesbian contingent wasn't represented?

A veteran is a veteran, and because of these brave and selfless people, we are able to live free and safe in America.
