Thanks, Grayslake, for support of vets

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Grayslake for their support during our semiannual poppy sale at the Grayslake Jewel, Ace Hardware and Piggly Wiggly, as well as downtown Grayslake.

Due to your generous donations, the local American Legion post and VFW post are able to continue efforts to provide for veterans in the North Chicago VA Hospital, as well as our area's homeless veterans.

Our thanks also go out to the Public Service Practicum Class and Key Club at Grayslake Central High School for their fine Veterans Day breakfast honoring Grayslake area veterans.
