2 found dead in Elgin apartment

Authorities say they're investigating the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found in an Elgin apartment building.

Officials have identified the woman as 47-year-old Roberta Brunke and the man as 30-year-old Eric Grata.

Authorities say the there were no signs of trauma on the bodies. Autopsies done yesterday were inconclusive pending the results of toxicology tests.

The bodies were found in the apartment in the 1500 block of Mildred Avenue Wednesday evening.
