Lincolnshire Prairie-View School District 103 notes
Early release day: Schools in Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103 will have an early release day today to provide professional development time for staff members.
Students will attend school from 7:50 to 10:50 a.m. at Daniel Wright Junior High School and from 9:05 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. at Half Day and Sprague schools.
Once students are released, district teachers will spend time collaborating as a professional learning community, working to improve student achievement through teaming. The specific focus of the session will be on common formative and summative assessments.
Grade level and subject area teams will analyze current ISAT data, determine areas of strength and improvement and begin the initial development of common summative assessments. Results will be integrated over time with instructional practices and curriculum design.
