Adult basketball league sign-up extended

Open registration for the Elgin Parks and Recreation Department's 2007-08 Adult Basketball Leagues is now under way. Two divisions are offered for this winter season.

A competitive (A/B) league and a recreational (C/D) league will play their games on Monday nights at The Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way.

The league fee is $575 per team and is based on a minimum of eight games. Additional fees include a $50 forfeit fee (paid by credit card) and nonresident fees. The registration deadline has been extended until Friday.

Registration for the Adult Basketball Leagues can be taken at The Centre of Elgin, 100 Symphony Way, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
