Loyola at 2-0 Purdue

Loyola (2-1) at Purdue (2-0)

When: 1 p.m. at Mackey Arena

TV: Big Ten Network Radio: WYLL 1160-AM

The skinny: Missed opportunities in last year's contest still gnaw at Loyola, which has won seven consecutive true road games entering today's tipoff. The Ramblers had chances to build a first-half lead against the Boilermakers at Mackey Arena but struggled with turnovers (20) and 3-point shooting (29.4 percent). Loyola has had eight days to prepare for a return trip to Purdue, where it last won in 1949. The Boilermakers struggled in Tuesday night's win against Lipscomb, falling behind by 10 in the first half before Keaton Grant swished the go-ahead 3-pointer with less than a minute left. True freshman forward Scott Martin leads Purdue in both scoring (12.5 ppg) and rebounding (7 rpg).
