U. Conn. tops Standford in women's hoops
Connecticut 66, Stanford 54: Maya Moore scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead No. 2 Connecticut (3-0) over No. 4 Stanford (3-1) in the Paradise Jam at Charlotte Amalie, U.S. Virgin Islands. Connecticut will play Old Dominion on tonight in the second round of the tournament. Stanford will play Old Dominion on Saturday.
