Maryland, Notre Dame cruise

Seldom-used freshman forward Emery Wallace scored 18 points, Drey Mingo had 16, and No. 3 host Maryland placed six players in double figures in a 98-50 rout of in-state foe Loyola on Tuesday night.

Maryland (6-0) tied a school record with a dozen 3-pointers, including 3 apiece by Wallace and Kristi Toliver.

Vika Sholokhova scored 20 for Loyola (2-2).

ND 94, Cent. Michigan 41: Freshman Becca Mruszewski scored a career-high 13 points to lead six players in double figures as Notre Dame (3-1) routed of host Central Michigan.

Freshman Shonda Long led Central Michigan (2-2) with 8 points.
