Colonial Cafe and Ice Cream raised $377.54 for St. John's Lutheran Church and School in Elgin. They had more than 200 students participate with their families to help raise money for the school.

"It was great to see the school really turn out for this fundraising event," said Colonial Cafe President Tom Anderson. "We are proud to be able to assist this local school in raising money."

The Colonial Cares Benefit Night fundraising program is designed to unite local families, friends, neighbors, students and faculty for a night out to assist a worthwhile charity.
