Paging Mr. Orton, Mr. Kyle Orton …

Realistic bite: Playoffs? … Playoffs??!!

Not this season, gang.

High hopes bite: Yes, that was Cedric Benson scooting around right end for a 43-yard touchdown on the second play from scrimmage.

Sadly, after adding a 20-yard run on his next touch, that was about it as Cedric the Entertainer morphed into Cedric the 3-Yard Gainer (9-for-26) the rest of the way.

Who the? bite: Raise your hand if you heard of Rod Wilson before Sunday's game. Don't worry if you didn't, after a late hit that led to a Seattle TD, he'll soon be a household name.

Future bite: Two words: Kyle Orton.

Wally World bite: The quest to subdue the noisy Qwest Field fans didn't work too well. The Bears had more false starts Sunday than a 1972 AMC Pacer in the middle of January.

Optimistic bite: Less than 100 days until pitchers and catchers report.

Resigned bite: Former Bear Doug Buffone summing things up Sunday evening on WSCR 670-AM: "The Bears just aren't good enough."
