Decomposed body found near Park City
A badly decomposed body was found by a walker Sunday inside the Greenbelt Forest Preserve near Park City.
Lake County Coroner Richard Keller said body appears to be a man, but has been badly decomposed and mostly skeletonized.
"We're working on seeing if we can get some identification and brining in a forensic dentist," Keller said. "Right now, the cause of death is unknown."
Keller said the body was found not far from the intersection of Eighth Street and Chestnut Avenue in Park City.
Keller performed an autopsy on the body late Sunday.
