Briefs: Last chance for collection

Carol Stream residents may have fall leaves picked up during trash collection free of charge during the week of Nov. 19. Leaves must be placed in a 33-gallon refuse can or in a paper yard waste bag. Leaves in plastic bags will not be picked up. The week of Nov. 26 is the last chance for Carol Stream residents to dispose of any remaining yard waste. Residents with leftover yard waste and leaf stickers may still use them during the 2008 collection year.
