Bad accidents tie up traffic in Elk Grove, Antioch

Auto accidents in Elk Grove Village and Antoich Friday evening have caused rush hour traffic delays and road closings.

A serious rush-hour car accident was reported near Busse Road and Greenleaf in Elk Grove Village, causing traffic delays in the area. Elk Grove Village police were processing the scene and had no further details.

Meanwhile, an accident in Antioch has closed down Route 45 from Route 176 to the Wisconsin border. ABC 7 reported that preliminary reports say that the car accident inmvolved three people, two of which may have been ejected from a vehicle, and unconfirmed reports say there may have been a fatality.
