Bulls assign Curry to D-League

The Bulls announced Thursday that rookie guard JamesOn Curry has been assigned to the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League.

Curry (6-3, 190) appeared in all seven of the Bulls' preseason games and averaged 4.0 ppg, 2.1 apg and 1.9 rpg in 17.3 mpg. He joined the Bulls as a second-round pick in the draft (51st overall).

For the Bulls' first six regular-season games, Curry was placed on the inactive list.

While with the Energy, he will remain on the Bulls' 15-man roster.
