Glenbard North: The Glenbard North High School theater department will present "And Neither Have I Wings to Fly" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday in the school's Little Theatre, 990 N. Kuhn Road, Carol Stream. Tickets cost $5. For details, call (630) 681-3399.

'Nunsense': The Grove Players will present the musical comedy "Nunsense" through Sunday at Lincoln Center, 935 Maple Ave., Downers Grove. 'Biloxi Blues': Kidz Kabaret will present Neil Simon's "Biloxi Blues" at 2 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday at The Comedy Shrine, 22 E. Chicago Ave., Naperville. The Tony Award-winning play is the second in Simon's "Eugene Trilogy," alongside "Brighton Beach Memoirs" and "Broadway Bound." It tells the story of Eugene, a young Brooklynite sent to military boot camp in 1942. Tickets cost $10, $8 for students and seniors, $6 for children 10 and younger. For details, call (630) 355-9212.

Auditions: The Grove Players will hold auditions for the contemporary British comedy "How the Other Half Loves" from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 26-27 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1125 Franklin Ave., Downers Grove. Parts are available for three men and three women, ages 25 to 50. Auditions will include a cold reading from the script. Actors also may prepare a one-minute monologue, preferably from another British comedy. Performances will be Fridays through Sundays, Feb. 8 to 17. For information, visit www.groveplayers.org.

Seeking new members: The Village Theatre Guild, Inc., meets at 7:30 p.m. the third Monday of every month at the Village Theatre, on the northwest corner of Park Boulevard and Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn.

New members are welcome. The group is seeking both adults who enjoy acting and singing, as well as those who want to work behind-the-scenes with makeup, hair, costumes, props, set construction and design, lighting and sound.

No experience is needed. Each gathering starts with a short business meeting followed by a one-act play or scene by a VTG member.
