Learn how to deal with difficult co-workers

On Thursday, the Illinois Fox Valley Society of Human Resource Management welcomes Mike Mastroianni and Norm Dasenbrook, co-authors of "Harnessing the Power of Conflict: Leading, Living, Learning."

They will be addressing how to deal with difficult people -- prompting change, conflict style, confrontation and mediation.

Illinois Fox Valley SHRM meets at Hennessy Restaurant, 2300 Bushwood Drive, off Randall Road and north of I-90 in Elgin. The group meets the third Thursday of the month for a luncheon with programs directed toward the human resource professional.

Registration is at 11:15 a.m. and the meeting adjourns at 1 p.m.
