Feeder tryouts: The Palatine Boys Feeder Basketball Program is conducting tryouts for its sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade teams for the 2007-08 season at following times.

• Sixth grade -- noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, North Shelf, Palatine High School.

• Seventh grade -- noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, South Shelf, Palatine High School.

• Eighth grade -- 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, South Shelf, Palatine High School.

Tryouts are open to all boys who live in the Palatine High School boundaries who intend to attend Palatine High School. Palatine Feeder Basketball is a competitive and challenging league that offers an elevated level of skills instruction and competition.
