Women's club to hold casino benefit

The Hawthorn Woods Women's Club will hold its second annual Charity Casino Night, "Diamonds and Denim," from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at Royal Melbourne Country Club, 4700 Royal Drive in Long Grove.

"Diamonds and Denim" will feature Las Vegas-style gambling, including blackjack, poker, roulette, craps, beat the dealer and a money wheel. A Texas Hold 'Em tournament will also be held.

Complimentary cocktails will be offered from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The evening also will include hors d'oeuvres and a light fare buffet. The dress code for the evening is "casual chic," with women encouraged to wear their finest denim and favorite jewelry.
