Briefs: Wheeling parks plan OK'd
The Wheeling Park District board on Tuesday approved 6-0, with commissioner Cheri Klumpp absent, a comprehensive plan submitted by PROS Consulting. The board held a special hearing last week to hear about the updated plan. The only change the board made was to change the comprehensive plan into a report, according to Matt Wehby, communication relations manager for the district. The report will be a guide for any development the district will want to do in the upcoming years -- determining where to invest resources and the best use of land -- and also gives the board information from a community survey.
