Shamrox' home opener is Jan. 5

The Chicago Shamrox on Tuesday announced their 2008 National Lacrosse League schedule. It features eight home games - seven on Saturday nights and one on Sunday afternoon - at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.

The Shamrox will open the season on Saturday, Jan. 5, with a 7 p.m. versus the Toronto Rock.

Tickets for all eight home games go on sale at 10 a.m. today.

Single-game tickets can be ordered by phone at (888) 732-7784, online at www.searscentre.com, or by visiting the Sears Centre Arena box office.

Season and group tickets can be ordered by calling the Chicago Shamrox office at 1-877-SHAMROX.
