• Jesus Granadas-Aviles, 28, of 1225 Kings Cross, Apt. 203, West Chicago, was charged with obstructing justice after an incident at 90 N. Island Ave. at 12:31 a.m. Sunday, according to a police report.
• James J. Demartini, 20, of 205 N. Prairie St., was charged with speeding, DUI and unlawful consumption of alcohol after a traffic stop on the 300 block of East Wilson Street at 2:16 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report.
• Shantisa G. Miller, 34, of 398 Ogden Falls Blvd., Oswego, was charged with possession of cannabis after a traffic stop near Batavia Avenue and Main Street at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
Geneva
• A Geneva man has been charged with felony aggravated battery and unlawful restraint and misdemeanor interfering with a report of domestic battery. James A. Schnaitman, 37, of 316 East Side Drive, was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Friday. He is accused of putting his forearm around a pregnant woman's throat and pushing her onto a bed. In the struggle, the woman fell from the bed and he fell on top of her. He is accused of taking her cell phone and throwing it away from her when she tried to call for help. Bond was set at $30,000, and Schnaitman has a Nov. 15 court date. The victim was treated at Delnor-Community Hospital.
• Me and Dad's Toys store was burglarized about 10:40 p.m. Saturday. Police responding to an alarm found the front door glass broken, a glass display case broken, and unknown items missing from the case.
• A driver's license, a Visa debit card and $873 were taken from a woman's purse while it was stored on a high shelf in an office at Fox Valley Winery, 33 S. Third St., between 10:15 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
• A billfold, driver's license, two credit cards and $20 were stolen from an unattended purse hanging on a hook on a bathroom stall door at Marshall's, 1596 S. Randall Road. It happened at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
• A $900 red Titan 440XL paint sprayer was stolen from a construction site at 957 Bluestem Drive between 5 p.m. Oct. 30 and 6 a.m. Wednesday.
• A battery charger and two 18-volt DeWalt power tool batteries were stolen between Oct. 26 and 1 p.m. Wednesday from a garage on the 500 block of Charles Street. A man told the owner he found the bucket of tools in his yard and returned them to the owner, but the charger and batteries were missing. They are valued at $50.
• Someone scratched a profanity, an obscenity, an inverted cross and a pentagram in the eighth green, and stole four tees from the seventh green, between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Eagle Brook Country Club, 2288 Fargo Blvd. Damage is estimated at $460.
Kane County
• A $27,000 John Deere 4720 tractor was stolen between 6 p.m. Oct. 29 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 30 from a farm field off Sauber Road in Maple Park, reports said.
• Doni A. Swick, 34, 336 Edwards St., Sycamore, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance, and improper use of registration following a traffic stop at 5:42 am. Wednesday at Plank and Brier Hill roads, Burlington, reports said.
• Robert D. Morgan, 28, of 687 Biltmore Drive, Bartlett, was arrested and charged with possession of a hypodermic needle, improper passing, reckless driving and improper lane use following at traffic stop at 8:45 a.m. Saturday at Route 25 and Army Trail Road, St. Charles, reports said.
• Two saws, three drills and a level, a total value of $830, were stolen between 12:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thursday from the unlocked cap of a pickup truck in the 37W700 block of Route 38 in St. Charles, reports said.
St. Charles
• Stephen K. Bolf, 24, of 643 Gunderson Drive, Carol Stream, was arrested at 12:02 p.m. Saturday and was charged with driving while license suspended and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident on the 3700 block of East Main Street, police said. Bolf was released on $1,000 bond with a Dec. 6 court date.
• Nicole C. Cummings, 34, of 3948 N. 44th St., Milwaukee, Wis., and Natasha D. Thomas, 33, Schaumburg, were arrested at 9:30 p.m. Friday and each charged with felony retail theft after stealing four purses valued at $970 from Von Maur, 3810 E. Main St., police said.
• Gregorio C. Montenegro, 34, of 743 Superior St., Aurora, was arrested at 4:16 p.m. Oct. 28 on the 1800 block of Kirk Road and was charged with speeding, two counts of drunken driving, no valid insurance and cocaine possession, police said.
• An estimated $50,000 in jewelry was reported stolen Sunday from the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road. A flea market vendor told police he arrived to his booth Sunday morning to find three aluminum cases displaying watches, bracelets and rings were missing. The items were last seen about 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
