Coat drive to aid Grayslake students

The Grayslake Junior Woman's Club is holding a city-wide coat drive to benefit the children of Grayslake School District 46.

Donations of new or gently used coats, hats and gloves for children in kindergarten through eighth grade are being accepted through Wednesday. Items may be dropped off at the following Grayslake businesses: Sweet Susie's, GFX International, the Grayslake Area Public Library, Gymnastics Factory, Piggly Wiggly, the Grayslake YMCA, Rockenbach Chevrolet, State Bank of the Lakes and The Vine. Each business has a labeled blue box to hold all donations.

Donations can also be made at any Grayslake District 46 school: Avon Center, Meadowview, Prairieview, Woodview, Frederick, Park Campus and Grayslake Middle School.
