A clear case of tax dollars well spent

A great big thank you to Lake County Forest Preserves and the taxpayers of Barrington for the new walking path recently opened between Citizens' Park in Barrington and the Cuba Marsh paths.

My husband and I walked this new addition the other day and it is a beautiful walkway with two bridges and lots of scenery.

It truly felt like we were way out in the country.

All the people who were walking were as happy as we were, too.

It is such a pleasure when our tax money goes to something that is beautiful and practical. Thank you again for the open spaces for all citizens to enjoy!
