Police to serve up pizza to raise money for program

The Barrington Police Benevolent Association and Sergio's Pizza will hold their second annual "Shop with a Barrington Police Officer" fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Sergio's Pizza, 338 W. Northwest Hwy., Barrington.

Volunteers, including police officers, will make pizzas, serve tables, make deliveries and answer phones.

Proceeds go to the Barrington Police Department's Charity, benefiting children in need during the holiday season.

Donations may be made through pizza purchases, cash or check. Or drop off an unwrapped toy at Sergio's Pizza or the Barrington Police Department.
