Learn more about construction jobs

A Construction and Construction Management Career and Job Fair, where job seekers can network one-on-one with area construction management firms, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in Room 2800 of the Student Resource Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn.

The fair will include three speakers from the industry. Firms will not be hiring at the job fair, but attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes.

Personal services to be offered today

Cosmetology students will provide free haircuts and manicures during a community service day for people with limited incomes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington St., Naperville.

There will be a clothing closet and students providing facials and makeup. A group of 300 volunteers will also include doctors, dentists, chiropractors and nurses offering free services.

COD to host its craft show

There will be a craft show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Physical Education Arena of the Physical Education Building at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn. New Classic Singers to perform today

November Memories will be the concert performed by the New Classic Singers at 8 p.m. today on the Mainstage of McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn.

The show will focus on events of Novembers past, anchored by "Take Him, Earth, for Cherishing," written in memory of President Kennedy.
